Part of ADD team had the privilege of working on the design for the Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History in 2014.
The interior design of the Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History seamlessly blends historical charm with modern innovation. Upon entering the museum, visitors are welcomed by an elegant and spacious foyer that sets the tone for the journey ahead. The grand entrance hall features high ceilings, intricate moldings, and an inviting atmosphere that reflects the institution’s esteemed heritage.
Each exhibition hall is carefully curated to enhance the visitor’s experience. The use of ambient lighting, paired with strategically placed spotlights, highlights key exhibits and creates a captivating visual narrative. The color palette, a harmonious blend of natural earth tones, not only complements the exhibits but also provides a serene backdrop that allows the artifacts to shine.
Interactive displays and touchscreens are integrated throughout the museum, providing an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages. These technological elements are thoughtfully incorporated into the design, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the overall aesthetic.
